Imex International, Inc. is a trading company and service organization which was established in 1987 to sell diamond segments, blades, diamond wire and machinery to the stone and construction industry. Located in Elberton, Georgia, the Imex service center and factory covers 65,000 sq ft. The company also has a 12,000 sqft. service center in Barre, Vermont, 800 in Illinois and 6000 in Pennsylvania and New York.

The facility services all types of saws and blades ranging in size from 12"(300MM) up to 14'(4200MM). A staff of highly specialized technicians are available to provide round-the-clock- service for segment tipping, tensioning and after sale assistance for our clients throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and worldwide.

This has given Imex the opportunity to carry out tests with the end user on a daily basis, making it possible to customize segments for each company's individual requirements. These requirements vary depending upon the type of blade, age and condition of the saw, saw rpm and the type of stone being cut. The production rate required by different manufacturers and the different grades of stone being cut will all affect the formula and construction of the segment.
